Premium Eye Screening

$400 before GST

Who is this for?

Adults with higher risk profiles – family history of glaucoma, diabetes, high myopia, or those over 40. Also suitable for anyone wanting the most comprehensive functional and structural eye assessment.

What does it help look out for?

Early glaucomatous damage (even before vision loss), macular diseases such as wet AMD and epiretinal membrane, visual field defects, optic nerve disorders, and subtle binocular vision problems.

Visual acuity

Measures how clearly you see at distance and near using an eye chart. Detects blurring from refractive errors or other media opacities. Includes colour vision testing screens for inherited or acquired colour deficiencies such as optic nerve disease.

Refraction

Refraction determines your exact spectacle prescription.

Binocular vision assessment (SMART system)

Evaluates 3D stereopsis (depth perception), ocular movements, dominance, and alignment. Our FDA‑approved state of the art SMART system is the gold standard system used for objective, high‑precision measurements in the evaluation of strabismus (squint) and other binocular vision deficits.

Slit lamp tonometry

More accurate than automated tonometry. Measures intraocular pressure with a gold‑standard applanation method – critical for glaucoma assessment.

Anterior segment examination

Using a slit lamp, we examine the cornea, iris, lens, and anterior chamber. Helps detect cataracts, corneal scars, dry eye, and signs of uveitis.

Dilated retinal examination

After dilating your pupils, the ophthalmologist views the retina, optic nerve, and macula. Essential for detecting diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal tears, and optic nerve damage.

Humphrey Visual Field

Maps your entire field of vision. Detects early glaucomatous defects, neurological diseases such as pituitary tumours and strokes, as well as retinal conditions.

Optic nerve and macula OCT scan

Optical coherence tomography creates cross‑section images of the optic nerve head and macula. Detects glaucomatous thinning, macular holes, oedema, or age‑related changes at a microscopic level.

Fundus photography

High‑resolution colour photo of the back of your eye. Serves as a baseline for future comparison and aids in documenting myopic degeneration, diabetic or hypertensive retinopathy.
